Mr. M K Joshi has taken over as Director (Technical) of Engineers India Ltd; state owned leading design and engineering Consultancy Company. Mr. Joshi is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from the IIT, Kanpur, India. He brings to his job an experience of over 30 years, having joined EIL in 1972 as a Process Engineer. Prior to his appointment as Director (Technical) he was Executive Director (Technical) responsible for the activities of the various divisions of the Technical Directorate in the areas of Petroleum Refining, Gas Processing, Offshore Engineering, Pipelines, Petrochemicals besides Research & Development. He has been involved in a number of Refining Projects and had direct responsibility for the design of process units that were set up for the first time in India using in house expertise. During his tenure with EIL he has been actively associated in these activities from concept to commissioning. He has participated in a number of conferences and seminars and also provided faculty support at training programmes organized in house or by other agencies.
