Engineers India Limited signed the 2005-2006 MoU with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. This document was signed between Mr S C Tripathi, Petroleum Secretary and Mr M.K. Dalal, Chairman & Managing Director, EIL. In view of EIL’s thrust for expanding overseas business, the MoU calls for enhancing Overseas Business Turnover by over 65% in this year. Besides, the MoU has set challenging targets for Turnover, Gross Margin and Operating Profit, which are significantly higher than the targets set for 2004-2005.

EIL has been signing MoUs since 1991-92. The present MOU is Fifteenth in the series. It has the distinction of consistently securing ‘Excellent’ performance rating under the MOU System for all years except for 1995-96.
