Engineers India Ltd, a state owned design and consultancy organization, has secured a contract for providing Project Management Consultancy Services for revamp and upgradation of Skikda Refinery from NAFTEC in Algeria. NAFTEC is a subsidiary of SONATRACH a state owned company. The contract is worth approx. 15 Million Euros. The contract was secured against stiff international competition from multinational companies such as Technip, Stone & Webster, Foster Wheeler, Bechtel and Fluor Daniel. . The scope of work includes preparation of Front End Engineering Design, preparation of tender and evaluation of tender for EPC contractor selection and the Project Management Services for execution of project. This contract is one of the largest value services contract the company has secured from overseas market. EIL is also currently executing a contract with SONATRACH entitled “Development of Engineering Capabilities”
