EIL’s Q3 Results

Engineers India Limited (EIL), a premier design & engineering consultancy Company has registered a turnover of Rs 1877 Crores during nine month of FY 2010-11, an impressive 39% increase over the turnover in the corresponding period of previous year. The Operating Profit of nine months for FY 2010-11 has also increased by 39%. The profit before tax increased by 16% to Rs 536 Crores vis a vis Rs. 462 Crores in the corresponding period of previous year. Company’s profit after tax during this period has increased by 15% to Rs 357 Crores against Rs 311 Crores in the corresponding period of previous year.

EIL files DRHP with SEBI

EIL has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the market regulator SEBI for its Further Public Offer (FPO) of 33,693,660 equity shares of Rs 5 each on June 15, 2010. The offer is being made by the President of India, acting through the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for disinvestment of 10% equity holding of the Government of India. All the proceeds from this issue shall go to the promoter.
