New Delhi, September 18, 2026: Engineers India Limited (EIL), a leading global engineering consultancy and project management organisation, reported its strongest-ever financial performance in FY2025–26, backed by robust project execution, a record order book and significant momentum in international markets.
The MoU provides a framework for collaboration under which EIL will offer its engineering, technical advisory, project management, and consultancy services to DGMA for the planning, development, modernization, and implementation of projects in the maritime sector.
Addressing the media in New Delhi following the Company’s 61st Annual General Meeting, EIL highlighted its strategy of building on its traditional strengths in hydrocarbons while accelerating its global expansion and diversification across infrastructure, renewables, nuclear energy, defence and other emerging sectors.
Record Financial Performance
FY2025–26 marked a significant milestone in EIL’s journey, with the Company recording its highest-ever Profit After Tax of ₹638.74 crore, representing growth of nearly 37% over the previous year.
Total income increased to ₹4,058.86 crore, compared with ₹3,198 crore in FY2024–25. Profit Before Tax rose to ₹833.50 crore, while EBITDA increased to ₹877.15 crore.
The Company’s operating margin also improved during the year, reflecting disciplined project execution and operational efficiency.
EIL secured fresh business worth ₹7,978 crore during FY2025–26, taking its order book to an all-time high of ₹15,109 crore as on March 31, 2026, providing strong multi-year business visibility.
Global Business Gains Momentum
International business emerged as one of the key growth drivers during the year, with overseas consultancy contributing around ₹4,929 crore — nearly 62% of the fresh business secured by EIL.Building on the successful execution of the landmark Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Project in Nigeria, EIL has further strengthened its association with the Dangote Group through an EPCM mandate for the Dangote Train-2 expansion, valued at approximately US$360 million, besides a separate PMC/EPCM assignment for a new four-train fertiliser project in Nigeria.
EIL has also strengthened its presence in the Middle East with the operationalisation of its office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by a long-term in-Kingdom services agreement with Saudi Aramco.
The Company continues to progress projects and engagements across Mongolia, Guyana, UAE, Bahrain, Algeria, Kuwait and other international markets, reinforcing its strategy of expanding EIL’s global footprint.

Diversifying Beyond Traditional Strengths
While hydrocarbons remain at the core of EIL’s engineering expertise, the Company is increasingly establishing its capabilities across new and emerging business areas.
EIL’s infrastructure portfolio expanded during the year with assignments covering mission-critical data centres, institutional infrastructure, airports and large public infrastructure projects.
Among important milestones, EIL completed the Reserve Bank of India’s Greenfield Data Centre and Training Institute at Bhubaneswar, progressed its association with the Shri Ram Temple Complex at Ayodhya, and continued engagements with premier institutions including IITs and IIMs.
In aviation infrastructure, the Company completed Independent Engineer services for the Noida International Airport, while continuing engagements at other major airport projects.
EIL is simultaneously strengthening its capabilities in renewables, green hydrogen, biofuels, nuclear energy, defence, metallurgy and other sunrise sectors, creating a more diversified and resilient business portfolio.
Technology and Digitalisation at the Core
Technology continues to be a key differentiator in EIL’s growth strategy.
The Company’s R&D Centre in Gurugram has developed a portfolio of more than 40 process technologies. During FY2025–26, EIL filed 24 new patent applications and secured 10 patent grants, taking its active portfolio to 58 granted patents, with another 74 applications under consideration.
EIL is also integrating Artificial Intelligence into engineering and project execution through indigenous digital solutions.
Its AI-enabled platforms are being deployed across project engineering, cost estimation and predictive asset integrity management, combining advanced digital technologies with the Company’s deep domain expertise.
Engineering the Energy Transition
EIL continues to expand its role in sustainability, decarbonisation and clean energy.
The Company remains committed to achieving Net Zero emissions across Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 2035, while strengthening capabilities in green hydrogen, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, biofuels, carbon management and renewable-energy infrastructure.
EIL is also moving beyond consultancy in select clean-energy areas by developing and owning energy-transition assets, reflecting an important evolution in its business model.
