EIL partnered with the Dangote Group as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and EPCM Consultant for the iconic 650,000 barrels-per-day Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, commissioned in 2024.
Contract for Major Fertilizer Capacity Expansion
Building on this strong and trusted partnership, EIL has once again joined hands with the Dangote Group to create one of the world’s largest hubs for nitrogenous fertilizers, comprising six Ammonia–Urea production trains. EIL has been awarded a prestigious contract to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) services for the expansion of the Dangote Fertilizer Complex in the Lekki Free Trade Zone. This major expansion includes the addition of four new fertilizer production trains, significantly scaling up the complex’s capacity and technological sophistication.
Upon completion of this expansion, Dangote Fertilizer will rank among the world’s largest fertilizer complexes, with a production capacity of 8 million tons of urea annually and six fully integrated Ammonia–Urea production trains. This milestone not only strengthens Africa’s industrial ecosystem but also highlights EIL’s unmatched engineering expertise, execution excellence, and leadership in delivering mega projects across the global hydrocarbon and fertilizer value chain.

Major Capacity Expansion Targeted by 2028
Dangote’s Lekki refinery, engineered and executed by EIL, is among the world’s largest single-train refineries, producing Euro-V quality gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and polypropylene. Dangote plans to expand its refining capacity from 650,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day with a new PDH unit to increase the Polypropene Production from 830,000 TPA to 2.4 million TPA. The latest expansion further reinforces Nigeria’s mission to become a regional hub for refined petroleum products and petrochemicals.
MOU
Building on this strong and trusted partnership, EIL has once again joined hands in this endeavour of Dangote and signed an MoU to partner as the PMC and EPCM consultant for this Project. Once completed,this expansion will position Dangote as the world’s largest petroleum refinery, strengthening fuel production within Africa, reducing reliance on imports, and supporting regional energy security.

Nov 14, 2025Engineers India Limited Announces Strong Q2 and H1 FY2025-26 Results Under Leadership of CMD Vartika Shukla; Records All-Time High Order Book
New Delhi, November 14, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL), announced its financial results for the second quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, showcasing robust growth across all key performance indicators and reinforcing its strong position in the industry.
For H1 FY2025-26, Revenue from Operations stood at ₹1,757.55 crore, registering an impressive 36.55% growth over the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The momentum was further reflected in the company’s profitability, with Segmental Profit rising by 42.66% to ₹233.94 crore compared to ₹163.98 crore in H1 FY2024-25.
EIL delivered a solid bottom-line performance, with Profit Before Tax (PBT) at ₹243.34 crore, up 40.16%, and Profit After Tax (PAT) at ₹184.98 crore, marking a 38.15% growth year-on-year—demonstrating operational efficiency and strong project execution capabilities.
During Q2 FY2025-26, the company continued its growth trajectory, reporting a PBT of ₹149.57 crore and PAT of ₹114.90 crore, reflecting significant quarter-on-quarter increases of 59.52% and 63.96%, respectively. Segment profitability for the quarter stood at 28% for the consultancy segment and 5% for turnkey operations.
On the business development front, EIL secured ₹3,764 crore worth of new orders during H1 FY2025-26, comprising ₹1,999 crore from consultancy services and ₹1,765 crore from turnkey projects. With this strong order inflow, EIL’s order book has reached an all-time high of ₹13,131 crore, reinforcing continued client confidence and ensuring healthy revenue visibility for the coming periods.
The strong financial results underscore the leadership’s sharp strategic focus on securing high-value consultancy mandates, driving excellence in project execution, and deepening EIL’s footprint across domestic and international markets. EIL signs MoU with NPCIL to provide engineering services for Bharat Small Reactor (BSR)
Sep 25, 2025New Delhi, September 25, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to provide Engineering Services for “Analysis and Design of Civil Structures of Generic 220 MWe Bharat Small Reactor (BSR)”.
This MoU was signed by Director Commercial - EIL and Director Technical - NPCIL in the presence of CMD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla and other senior Management officers from both the organizations at EIL office, New Delhi on 24th September, 2025.
EIL is a Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), providing concept to commissioning services across various industrial sectors.
NPCIL is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, engaged in setting up & operating nuclear power plants across India.
The partnership through this MoU, supports GoI’s vision to accelerate nuclear power, enabling clean, green, and reliable energy to strengthen India’s energy security and is a step towards Nuclear Energy Mission for Viksit Bharat, targeting a nuclear power capacity of 100 GW by 2047.
Based on the NPCIL’s experience of design, construction, operation & maintenance of standard 220 MWe PHWRs in India & EIL’s expertise for specialized engineering services, the existing standard design of 220 MWe PHWR is being engineered as a generic design of 220 MWe BSR with implementation of latest safety upgradation, design modifications incorporating latest codes & standards and regulatory requirements.
The 220 MWe BSR facilitates faster adoption of these reactors for energy-intensive industries like steel, aluminum, cement etc., providing much needed green energy for their operation and also helps the replacement/phasing out of vintage captive thermal power plants used by these industries.
The upgraded civil design of 220 Mwe BSR, in compliance with the latest stringent safety regulations, facilitates large-scale multiplication and deployment of these standardized 220 MWe PHWRs across different locations in India.
With the above upgrade of the Indigenous technology of 220 Mwe BSR, India's nuclear energy is poised for significant growth towards realizing the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to achieve Net Zero by 2070.

Sep 24, 2025New Delhi, September 24, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL) conducted the 60th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 24, 2025, at its Head Office in New Delhi through Video Conferencing (VC). C&MD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, presided over the AGM, which was graced by Government Nominee Director, Functional Directors, Independent Directors, Nominee of the President of India and the Company Secretary.
This year, the company celebrated its 60 years of dedicated service to the Nation. This milestone reflects EIL’s enduring legacy with the trust of our stakeholders and our pivotal role in the indigenization of India’s hydrocarbon sector.
In her address to the shareholders, C&MD expressed that despite a global economic environment marked by dynamic shifts and persistent challenges, EIL once again showcased its resilience and operational excellence, delivering a strong performance in FY 2024-25. She remarked, “It is a matter of immense pride for the Company to have achieved new milestones, including the highest-ever order inflow of ₹8,214 crore of which ₹1,077 crore came from overseas territories, the highest in the last decade. In FY 2024-25, EIL’s diversified business portfolio saw a remarkable expansion, with nearly 35% of the total order inflow secured in the infrastructure segment, spanning high-end data centres, cutting-edge laboratories, academic complexes, and other landmark projects.

India’s first Bamboo based Biorefinery achieved a Significant Milestone of Mechanical Completion
Sep 05, 2025New Delhi, September 5, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL) is proud to announce the successful Mechanical Completion of the prestigious Bio Refinery Project of Assam Bio Ethanol Private Limited (ABEPL) at Numaligarh, Assam.
The project, aimed at producing 49,000 TPA of Bio Ethanol, 11,000 TPA of Acetic Acid, and 19,000 TPA of Furfural from raw bamboo feedstocks, is being executed by EIL in EPCM mode directly from demo stage based on the technology supplied by Chempolis OY.
This marks one of the pioneering milestones achieved by EIL in its six-decade journey of providing services and building the nation’s energy infrastructure. This project is anticipated to set the benchmark for India’s Biorefinery programmes in the coming years. It will not only boost the supply of ethanol for the transportation segment but also open more opportunities for the deployment of technologies related to the production of value-added products and chemicals from by-products of the Biorefinery.
This project will contribute significantly towards achieving the Ethanol Blending Program (EBP) target of the Government of India and meeting the energy security for the nation, fully aligned with our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to achieve Net Zero by the year 2070.

Engineers India Limited (EIL) & ONGC Energy Centre Trust (OECT) Executed Agreement for Helium Recovery Demonstration Plant at Kuthalam, Tamil Nadu
Aug 20, 2025New Delhi, August 20, 2025: EIL & OECT signed an agreement on 18th August 2025 at ONGC - New Delhi Office for “Detailed Project Report, Basic Engineering Design Package, and execution of the project through EPCM and Supply mode for implementation of a Helium Recovery Demonstration Plant at ONGC’s Kuthalam Gas Collection Station in Cauvery Asset, Tamil Nadu.”
This agreement has been executed in the presence of Shri Rajiv Agarwal (Director Technical) - EIL & Shri Vikram Saxena (Director, Technology & Field Services) - ONGC & and other senior Management officers from both the organizations at the ONGC New Delhi office.

OECT is a Trust set up by ONGC to conduct research and development in alternative energy, specifically focusing on projects, which have the potential to make an impact on India’s Energy sector.
The project is of immense national importance towards Hon’ble PM’s vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” with the development of indigenous technology by EIL, CSIR-IIP and OECT towards the recovery of Grade -A Helium of 99.995 % purity from natural gas.
Helium, a critical resource with its wider applications in space, semiconductor manufacturing, medical field and various industrial and scientific applications. As per reports, it is estimated that India imports approx. 70 million cubic meters/year of Helium with value of approx. Rs.55,000 Cr/year. Thus, establishing indigenously developed technology and capability in Helium recovery is of strategic importance for the country towards achieving self-reliance for Helium and reducing import dependency with saving of significant foreign exchange.
The collaboration of EIL, CSIR-IIP and OECT will combine their pool of expertise for the successful implementation of this strategic project, which could propel further proliferation of this technology in other potential areas across India.

At the main function held at EIL Office Complex in Gurugram, Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Functional Directors, CVO and senior officials of the Company. The program was attended in large numbers by employees and their families.

EIL achieves major milestone in Urja Ganga Pipeline Project
Jul 18, 2025New Delhi, July 18, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL), a leading engineering consultancy company, has marked a key milestone in India’s clean energy journey by successfully delivering project management services for the Durgapur - Kolkata section (132 km) of the Durgapur-Haldia Natural Gas Pipeline, which has been laid as a part of ambitious Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga (PMUG) Project.
The Durgapur–Kolkata section of the pipeline was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on 18th July, 2025 at Durgapur, West Bengal, heralding a new era of sustainable energy access for industries and households in the state.
The Urja Ganga pipeline network, comprising the Dobhi–Durgapur, Durgapur–Haldia, and Dhamra–Haldia pipelines, now extends over 1,030 km, consisting of 30", 24", 18" & 12" diameter pipelines. EIL, acting as the Project Management Consultant (PMC), played a pivotal role in ensuring timely and efficient execution of this challenging project.
In addition to overcoming critical Right of Use (RoU) acquisition challenges, this landmark project required approx. 130 nos. of crossings through the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method including the crossing of the Roopnarayan River executed through HDD by Intersect Method of an approx. length of 2.8 km. The completion of this vital segment of the Urja Ganga pipeline reinforces EIL’s commitment to supporting India’s energy transition and infrastructure development goals.

EIL Leads Project Management for Landmark Dabhol Breakwater Completion
Jun 07, 2025New Delhi, June 7, 2025: In a major milestone for India’s energy infrastructure, Engineers India Limited (EIL), serving as Project Management Consultant (PMC), has played a pivotal role in the successful berthing and discharge of GAIL’s LNG vessel at the Dabhol LNG Terminal on June 2, 2025. This marks the commissioning of a state-of-the-art breakwater facility, for GAIL (India) Limited and executed by Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
This 2.3 km-long Island Rubble Mound Breakwater, constructed using over 15,500 indigenously developed ACCROPODE™ blocks and placed with 3D ECHOSCOPE® technology for precision and integrity, enables year-round operations at the terminal. Reinforced with one million cubic meters of boulders in triple-layered formation, the structure ensures durability against extreme marine conditions and has officially transformed the terminal into an all-weather port, as declared by the NSPC.
Despite a limited construction window of just 5–6 months, the project was delivered with world-class engineering finesse. EIL’s role as PMC was instrumental in coordinating the complex engineering, environmental clearances and execution phases, ensuring seamless delivery of this critical infrastructure.
The upgraded Dabhol LNG Terminal, with a regasification capacity of 5 MMTPA, is expected to enhance India’s energy resilience by significantly improving vessel accessibility and ensuring uninterrupted LNG supply during the challenging southwest monsoon season.
CMD GAIL, Mr. Sandeep Kumar Gupta, was present at the milestone event, underscoring the collaborative success of all stakeholders.

EIL & CEIL Celebrate Role in the World’s Highest Railway Bridge – Chenab Bridge

EIL celebrates 61st Foundation Day
Mar 17, 2025New Delhi, March 17, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL) commemorated its 61st Foundation Day with enthusiasm and pride, celebrating its remarkable contributions to the development of the nation’s energy infrastructure over the past six decades. The event was inaugurated by CMD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla in the presence of Functional Directors, senior officials, and a large gathering of employees.
In her address, Ms. Shukla highlighted EIL's journey from pioneering India’s energy infrastructure since 1965 to executing mega projects in diverse sectors both in India and overseas. She proudly stated, "With a record order book of around Rs.11,500 crore, EIL is expanding its horizon of services in defense manufacturing, steel, and re-entered nuclear energy, thereby reinforcing our legacy of innovation and growth."
As part of the celebrations, a Blood Donation Camp was organized at the company’s Headquarters in New Delhi, where EIL employees enthusiastically participated, promoting awareness of the benefits of this noble cause. EIL inks MoA with HPCL during IEW 2025
Feb 13, 2025New Delhi, February 13, 2025: Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on February 13, 2025, to collaborate for various projects of HPCL. The MOA has been signed in the presence of Ms. Vartika Shukla, CMD, EIL and Mr. Rajneesh Narang, CMD (Additional charge) and Director (Finance), HPCL during India Energy Week 2025 international conference being held in New Delhi from February 11-14, 2025.
The MoA shall provide a robust framework for fast-track implementation of various Engineering and Consultancy projects in Refineries, HPGRDC (HP Green R&D Centre), Petrochemicals, Pipelines, renewable energy, marketing terminals and depots, and other projects of HPCL in India. The MoA shall further strengthen the association between EIL and HPCL in the Hydrocarbon and Renewable Energy Sector.

The MoU signing took place in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Secretary, MoPNG, Shri Pankaj Jain & CMD, EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla. Molyama Kromah, Head of bp TSI (bp) and Mr Atul Gupta, Director-Commercial (EIL) along with leadership from both companies were present on the occasion.
As per the MoU joint working teams will be formed to discuss other opportunities/projects that will contribute to technical support for bp's global assets across its refining, terminals and pipelines, oil and gas and offshore/subsea portfolio. Opportunities in other energy vectors may also be added as future scope.
The MoU is valid for three years under which both companies have agreed to work together in the areas identified.
