EIL inaugurates week long celebration of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023Oct 30, 2023
New Delhi, October 30, 2023: The week-long celebration of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 was heralded by Ms Vartika Shukla, CMD EIL and Ms Shruti Agnihotriy, Chief Vigilance Officer EIL in an inaugural function held on October 30, 2023 at EIL HO, New Delhi in the presence of Directors and employees of the company, joining both physically and virtually.

EIL and NTPC execute Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to Collaborate in the Emerging Green Business SegmentOct 26, 2023
New Delhi, October 26, 2023: In line with its vision of venturing into emerging Green Business sectors, Engineers India Limited (EIL) inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with NTPC Limited on October 25, 2023. As per the MoA framework, EIL will engage with NTPC to carry out collaborative work in the domain of Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS), Green Fuel, Green Chemicals including Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Green Fertilizers, Bio-Fuels, Decarbonization, Waste Handling, Water, Ash, etc., paving the way for a clean energy transition.
The MoA was signed by Mr. Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial), EIL and Mr. Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya, Director (Projects), NTPC Ltd. in the presence of Mr. Jaikumar Srinivasan, Director (Finance), NTPC Ltd., Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, Director (Technical), EIL and other senior officials of NTPC & EIL at NTPC’s Corporate Office in New Delhi.

New Delhi, September 15, 2023: The 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Engineers India Limited (EIL) was held on September 15, 2023 at its Head Office in New Delhi through Video Conferencing (VC). Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL presided over the virtual AGM which was graced by Government Nominee Director, Functional Directors, Independent Directors, Nominee of the President of India and the Company Secretary.
Addressing the shareholders, C&MD presented EIL's performance and accomplishments in Fiscal year 2022-23 and laid the roadmap for the Company's future growth. New Delhi, August 28, 2023: Engineers India Limited (EIL), a renowned Public Sector Engineering and Project Management consultancy under the administrative control of MoP&NG, Govt. of India, executed a collaborative agreement with CSP Sunrise Pty Ltd and its group companies Sunrise CSP India Pvt Ltd and Sunrise CSP International Ltd, an esteemed player in the renewable energy sector based in Australia. EIL signs MoU with KIIFCON Pvt. Ltd.Aug 26, 2023
New Delhi, August 26, 2023: Engineers India Limited (EIL) executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KIIFCON Pvt. Ltd. (KIIFCON), a Consultancy Organisation under Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) to jointly explore, identify, secure, and execute consultancy projects.
Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) is the principal funding arm of Government of Kerala and aims to channelize fund for critical and large public infrastructure projects in Kerala.
The MoU was signed by Sh. Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial), EIL and Sh. S.J. Vijayadas, Director-Projects & Engineering, KIIFCON in the august presence of C&MD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, Dr. K.M. Abraham, Chairman, KIIFCON and Sh. Satyajeet Rajan, Chief Executive Officer, KIIFCON.
As a part of MoU, EIL and KIIFCON shall work as partners in Projects for providing consultancy services for development and implementation of infrastructure projects in various identified fields including roads, highways, expressways, bridges, underpass & flyovers, urban transport, ports & waterways, energy & hydropower, airports, urban/industrial planning, sustainability, building Projects, ropeways, railway infrastructure, Water Sector, Waste Water Management, Data Centre, Institutional Complexes, Green Buildings etc. for domestic and international projects.

Mongol Refinery Project : Global Footprint of EILAug 22, 2023
New Delhi, August 22, 2023: A delegation led by C&MD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla visited Mongol Refinery Project, Mongolia. During the visit, the team got an opportunity to meet the Honorable Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, Mr. Khurelbaatar Chimed, Honorable Deputy Speaker of State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Mr. Munkhbaatar Lkhagva and Honorable Chairman of Citizens’ Representative Khural of Dornogobi Province, Mr. B. Ganzorig in august presence of H.E. Mr. M.P. Singh, Indian Ambassador to Mongolia and Dr. Altantsetseg, CEO - Mongol Refinery State Owned LLC and other senior officials in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
EIL is the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the Mongol Refinery Project being executed under the G2G framework through Line of Credit (LoC). Mongol Refinery is one of the challenging projects being executed under extreme climatic conditions with temperature ranging from (-) 35 deg C to (+) 40 deg C .
During the visit project and construction activities were reviewed by the apex officials of EIL and Mongol Refinery for the successful implementation of 1.5 MMTPA Crude Oil Refinery in Mongolia. The team also visited the HSE gallery installed to promote the safety culture at site. C&MD EIL while interacting with team emphasized the importance of HSE in fostering of a safety culture and timely project completion. The inauguration of the Guest House and Medical Buildings was graced by the presence of H.E. the Ambassador of India to Mongolia, along with the C&MD of EIL and the CEO of Mongol Refinery.

EIL organizes “URJAALEKH” – Intra Industry Technical Paper Writing Competition under aegis of MoP&NGJul 28, 2023
New Delhi, July 28, 2023: Engineers India Limited (EIL) is organizing a two-day Intra-Industry Technical Paper Writing Competition - 'URJAALEKH' under the aegis of MoP&NG, in New Delhi during July 28-29, 2023. Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL along with Functional Directors of EIL and senior officials from Oil & Gas PSUs graced the inaugural ceremony.
Among the participating organizations are the mix of Maharatna and Navratna Oil and Gas CPSEs namely, BPCL, HPCL, EIL, GAIL, IOCL, OIL and ONGC. The event focuses on sharing best practices of Oil & Gas Sector, emerging trends & Innovation in the form of paper presentation under six categories namely: Operations, Supply Chain Management, Marketing & Sales, HSE & Quality, Finance & Human Resource Management.
Millennials from across the Oil & Gas PSU Industry participated in large numbers and almost 300 abstracts were received out of which 30 abstracts were identified for submission of full papers (approx. 5 papers in each category). An eminent jury comprising Experts from both the industry (former Directors and C&MDs of the Oil & Gas PSUs) and leading academic institutions would be evaluating the final presentations to shortlist best three presenters in each category to be awarded on concluding day of the event.
Addressing the inaugural session, C&MD EIL, while appreciating the team work emphasized that technical events of this ilk would be instrumental in deliberating on the thematic areas of relevance to the industry and society at large. Further, the critical examination of the ideas presented by millennials by the industry and academic stalwarts would be quintessential towards their successful implementation.
Indian Delegation led by Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha visits Mongol Refinery ProjectJul 07, 2023
New Delhi, July 7, 2023: An Indian Parliamentary delegation led by the Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, Sh. Om Birla, Hon’ble Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) along with His Excellency Mr. M. P Singh, Ambassador of India to Mongolia visited the Mongol Refinery Office in Ulaanbaatar on 7th July 2023. Dr. Altaansetseg Dashdavaa, Executive Director - Mongol Refinery along with team of Engineers India Limited (EIL) accorded a warm welcome to them.
The delegation was apprised of the present progress of the 1.5 MMTPA Oil Refinery under execution by Engineers India Ltd as Project Management Consultant (PMC). The delegation while evincing keen interest on the project features & its present status, applauded the efforts being put in by all stakeholders working relentlessly to enable India's spiritual neighbour Mongolia achieve energy independence.
The Oil Refinery is under execution through a Line of Credit (LOC) extended by the Government of India to the Government of Mongolia.
EIL observes Swachhta Pakhwada 2023Jul 03, 2023
New Delhi, July 3, 2023:Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) launched the Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations on July 1, 2023 with a host of initiatives including awareness drive for the local community, Shram Daan to clean the near vicinity of the Office complex and distribution of hygiene kits.
On this occasion, Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, along with Functional Directors & CVO, administered the Swachhta Pledge to the employees. Addressing the gathering, C&MD urged employees to make cleanliness a habit and offer their wholehearted participation for the Pakhwada’s success and continue focused efforts in making Swachh Bharat a reality in days to come.
C&MD also inaugurated hand painted murals by local artists conveying the message of hygiene and waste segregation and flagged off the Swachhta Pathgamini, a shuttle bus service with a customized swachhta message to spread the message of cleanliness & hygiene. As part of Swachhta Pakhwada initiatives, a Prabhat Pheri was also conducted at Nehru Park in Delhi to sensitize morning walkers and local communities on the importance of cleanliness, public hygiene and sanitation.
As part of Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations during July 1 – 15, 2023, EIL has drawn up an exhaustive action plan which comprises a host of activities including cleanliness drives, workshops, weeding out exercise as well as various competitions for the employees and their family members.

New Delhi, June 21, 2023: Engineers India Limited (EIL) celebrated the 9th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2023, at its various establishments.
Functional Directors and senior officials along with large number of employees took part in the Yoga Session organised at EIL Gurugram Complex. During the Yoga Session, employees were ably guided to practice various Asanas by Yoga Guru Shri Joginder Singh, who emphasized on the unique potential of Yoga to improve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

EIL organises Annual Press ConferenceMay 27, 2023
New Delhi, May 27, 2023: Engineers India Ltd (EIL) organised its Annual Press Conference on May 26, 2023 in New Delhi wherein C&MD Ms. Vartika Shukla shared EIL's Annual Results for FY 2022-23 as well as Business Outlook and Orders Secured. Functional Directors and senior officials of the Company were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, CMD said that during FY 2022-23, EIL had secured business worth around INR 4700 Cr as against the order value of around INR 1650 Cr in FY 2021-22. “The overall order book status of the company, however, as of 31st March 2023 stood at INR 9079 Cr including go ahead of around INR 1600 Cr,” she added.
Emphasizing on EIL’s forte of mega project implementation in the oil & gas sector, Ms. Shukla stated that Vizag Refinery Modernisation Project (VRMP) of HPCL, HPCL Rajasthan Refinery project (HRRL), Capacity expansion project of IOCL-Panipat, Cauvery Basin Refinery (CBR) project for CPCL, with the combined capital outlay of around $20 billion are some of the recent testimonies of EIL’s project execution capabilities in the domestic market.
Speaking on EIL’s international operations, CMD stated that EIL has been transforming and expanding its business operations to emerge as a global industrial powerhouse through its robust engineering and technology portfolio. “EIL has already showcased its unparalleled track record of mega project implementation in new geographies. The commissioning of Dangote Oil Refinery Project (DORC) in Nigeria with highest single train refining capacity in the world exemplifies EIL’s contribution in fulfilling our Honourable Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Local to Global’,” she added. CMD further shared that EIL has received work order worth INR 209 Cr in this financial year only from the overseas that constitute more than 30% of its order value in FY 2023-24.

EIL Teams bag Gold & Silver Trophies in Quality Circle CompetitionApr 26, 2023
New Delhi, April 26, 2023: Team 'SAHYOG’ from HR Directorate of Engineers India Limited (EIL) won the Gold Trophy at 1st Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and HR Convention - Quality Circle competition organised by QCFI (Quality Circle Forum of India) - Delhi Chapter at Faridabad on April 22, 2023.
The Gold Trophy, the highest award in the competition, was presented for excellent performance of EIL Team for their Quality Circle Project entitled “To regulate excess payment in cases of unapproved absence”. EIL Team comprised of Ms. Amita, AGM (HR), Mohd. Samar Rauf, Manager (HR) and Ms. Divya Gupta, Manager (HR).
EIL Team, ‘SAMVARDHAN’, from Instrumentation Dept., also secured Silver Trophy in the EHS convention for their Quality Circle Project entitled “Mitigation & optimization of variations in the schemes of deluge valve system”.

G Sathiyan and T Reeth Rishya win Men’s and Women’s Singles titles in 41st PSPB Inter Unit Table Tennis Tournament hosted by EILApr 21, 2023
New Delhi, April 21, 2023: The 41st PSPB Inter Unit Table Tennis Tournament hosted by Engineers India Limited (EIL) during April 18-21, 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi concluded today. Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL presided over the closing ceremony in the presence of Sh. Kamlesh Mehta, Secretary General of the Table Tennis Federation of India and Sr. Management officials from Oil PSUs and PSPB.
The closing ceremony was preceded by the Men’s and Women’s Singles final matches wherein Sh. G Sathiyan (ONGC) and Ms. T Reeth Rishya (IOCL) emerged victorious, respectively. While Sh. Sathiyan beat Sh. Achanta Sharath Kamal 4-1, Ms. T Reeth Rishya got the better of Yashaswani Ghorpade (OIL) 4-3 in a closely- fought contest. In the Team Championships, defending champions Team ONGC won the Men’s Team Title beating team IOCL 3-1 while IOCL, also the defending champions, won the Women’s team title beating Team OIL 3-2.
While congratulating the winners and participants for making the event a grand success, C&MD, EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla complimented all for upholding the highest standards of sportsman spirit during the tournament and wished them the best in their pursuit of sporting excellence for the Nation.

The Achievement Award for “Best Construction Project” was
presented to “MAF Project, Assam Petrochemicals Limited, Namr up, Assam” while
Achievement Award for “Construction Health, Safety & Environment” was
presented to “Residual Utilities & Offsites (OBE) for Rajasthan Refinery
Project of HRRL, Barmer”. The awards were received by Sh. Janak Kishore, ED
(Projects), Sh K.Y. Malleshwarappa, GGM (Const.), Sh. Amit K Das, CGM (Const.)
& Sh. R. K. Singh, CGM (Projects) at the 14th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards
ceremony held in New Delhi during April 10-12, 2023.
“MAF Project” of Assam Petrochemicals Limited, Namr up,
Assam was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 14th
April 2023. EIL provided LEPCM Services for this project. “Rajasthan Refinery
Project” of HRRL, Barmer is one of the largest Integrated Refinery cum
Petrochemical complexes being set up in India, EIL is providing consultancy
services for the project.

EIL hosts 41st PSPB Inter Unit Table Tennis TournamentApr 18, 2023
New Delhi, April 18, 2023: The
41st PSPB Inter Unit Table Tennis Tournament being organised by Engineers India
Limited (EIL) during April 18-21, 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi was inaugurated
by Sh. Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Petroleum &
Natural Gas and Labour & Employment in the presence of Ms. Vartika Shukla,
C&MD, EIL and Sr. Management officials from Oil PSUs and PSPB.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Teli said that Govt. of
India is committed to provide all possible encouragement & support to our
athletes. “In the recent past, our athletes have excelled at the world stage in
different events including Asian Games, Commonwealth Games & other
tournaments. Significant progress has been made in the world of sports in line
with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's mantra of ‘Khelega India tabhi to badhega
India’,” he added. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Vartika Shukla said that players
from PSPB fraternity have brought many laurels at the international level and

EIL secures business worth over INR 4500 Crores in FY 22 23 records significant jump in overseas ordersApr 17, 2023
New Delhi, April 17, 2023: Engineers
India Limited (EIL) has recorded substantial growth in the Business for Year
22-23 by securing over INR 4500 Crores vis-a-vis approx. INR 1700 Crores
secured in FY 21-22. Besides other areas, significant jump is witnessed in the
business secured from International assignments to around INR 600 Crores from
less than INR 50 Crores in FY 21-22.
While maintaining its leadership position in the Hydrocarbon
Sector, EIL has also secured substantial business in Infrastructure sector and
also marked significant entry into new segments of Green Hydrogen, Waste to
Fuel, Niche chemicals & Defence. During the year, EIL signed MoUs/MoAs and
Strategic Alliances for business growth with leading Oil Sector companies and
Technology Providers. While EIL consolidated its presence in Nigeria and Middle
East, it secured projects in new geographies such as Guyana.
EIL and DEEP.KBB GmbH, Germany Sign Memorandum of AgreementApr 12, 2023
New Delhi, April 12, 2023: Engineers
India Limited (EIL) has inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with M/s DEEP.KBB
GmbH, Germany for Salt Cavern Projects. The alliance shall jointly pursue Basic
Design, Detail Engineering, Project Management and Construction Supervision
Services for underground and above ground Salt Cavern Storage Facilities for
Hydrocarbons and other products like Hydrogen & Carbon Dioxide for Indian
and International clients, in line with EIL’s vision “To be a Global Leader
offering Total Energy Solutions for a Sustainable Future.”
MoA was signed in presence of Sh. Pankaj Jain, Secretary, MoP&NG, and Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL by Sh. Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial),

New Delhi, March 28, 2023: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been honoured with award under the category "Best Performing Uniquely Placed Organization" in the National Workshop for Electronic Procurement organized by Department of Expenditure (PPD), Ministry of Electronics & IT (Meity) and NIC on 27th March 2023 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The award was presented to Sh. Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial), EIL by Sh. Sanjay Gera (Director General-NIC in the presence of Sh. Prashant Kumar Singh (CEO-GeM, New Initiatives), Sh. Sanjay Aggarwal (Advisor, PPD, Department of Expenditure) and Smt. Alka Misra (DDG & HoG, eProcurement NIC). Sh. Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial) was accompanied by Sh. Amit Sengupta (ED-SCM), Sh. Asheesh Sengupta (ED-SCM) and other EIL officials.
The award is conferred to EIL for implementing innovative ideas in Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) and EIL’s unique role of Buyer as well as Seller. EIL was selected for this award by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Electronics & IT (Meity).

Governor, RBI lays the Foundation Stone of a ‘New Greenfield Data Centre’ and ‘Enterprise Computing & Cybersecurity Training Institute’ of RBIMar 23, 2023
New Delhi, March 23, 2023: Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), laid the foundation stone for establishment of a “Greenfield Data Centre’ and ‘Enterprise Computing & Cybersecurity Training Institute’ in Bhubaneswar, Odisha on 22nd March, 2023, in presence of the Chief Secretary to Govt. of Odisha, key Principal Secretaries to Govt. of Odisha, C&MD and Director (Projects) of Engineers India Limited (EIL) and other senior officials from Government of Odisha, RBI, IFTAS, EIL and Banks. EIL is providing EPCM services from concept to commissioning of the New Data Centre and the Enterprise Computing & Cybersecurity Training Institute.
Shri Shaktikanta Das, in his remarks, acknowledged the critical role played by technology in supporting the activities of the financial sector and the RBI over the years and recently, in facilitating a robust recovery from the pandemic. He highlighted the need for augmenting the existing computing infrastructure of the RBI supported by cutting edge facilities for research and capacity building in emerging areas straddling central banking, technology and cybersecurity for a future ready RBI.
The New Data Centre and the Enterprise Computing & Cybersecurity Training Institute spread over an area of 18.55 acres, when commissioned, will cater to the emerging requirements of the Reserve Bank and the financial sector.
EIL celebrates 59th Foundation DayMar 15, 2023
New Delhi, March 15, 2023: Engineers India Limited (EIL) celebrated 59th
Foundation Day on March 15, 2023. C&MD, EIL inaugurated the celebrations,
which was attended by Functional Directors, CVO, senior officials and a large
number of employees.
In her address, C&MD said
that the Company must remain adaptable, innovative, and agile in the rapidly
changing business environment, to be on the sustained growth path. While
complimenting the employees for achieving several critical milestones, she
urged everyone to draw inspiration from Company’s founding fathers to provide
end to end technological solutions across the globe.

Conference was also organised wherein C&MD along with Functional Directors
apprised the media on EIL business outlook, renewed vision & new
initiatives. Addressing the media, C&MD elaborated the organization’s
journey of building the energy infrastructure for the country over past five
and half decades and the anchor role played by it towards technology
development and its commercialization. Emphasising on EIL’s forte of mega project
execution, C&MD said that the Company is executing projects with combined
capital outlay of around $20 billion in India and is also implementing mega
