EIL inks Memorandum of Understanding with Detect Technologies Private Limited for Real Time Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Monitoring for Implementing Safe Practices at Construction Sites and Progress Monitoring for the Clients in India and abroad

New Delhi, April 12, 2024: Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Detect Technologies Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Real Time Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Monitoring for Implementing Safe Practices at Construction Sites and Progress Monitoring for the Clients in India and abroad.

The MoU was signed in august presence of Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL and Shri Varun Kumar, Chief Business Officer & Shri R Ramachandran, Director, Detect Technologies Private Limited by Shri Rajeev Gupta, Director (Projects), EIL and Shri Tarun Kumar Mishra, Chief Strategy Officer, Detect Technologies Private Limited on 12th April, 2024.

Under the MoU, EIL and Detect Technologies will collaborate to provide Real Time Artificial Intelligence (AI) based monitoring for implementing safe practices and progress monitoring at construction sites for various projects being executed by EIL. This MoU will facilitate implementation, operation and maintenance of an AI based solution using cameras, drones, and cloud computing for maintaining safe work environment at site with an objective to avoid Loss Time Accidents/injuries, and monitoring of project progress.

This collaboration aligns with EIL's commitment to creating the safest possible environment for personnel at work sites by strictly adhering to the highest regulatory standards. This commitment ensures zero tolerance for safety and occupational hazards across various projects, thereby contributing to the social, economic, and holistic growth of society and the country at large.

New Delhi, April 5, 2024: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been conferred with the prestigious CIDC Vishwakarma Award by Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) in the category of “Construction Health, Safety & Environment” for Rajasthan Refinery Project, Barmer. The awards were presented during the 15th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards ceremony held in New Delhi on April 4, 2024.

The Award recognizes EIL's respect for human life and well-being as reflected in its best practices towards construction safety and occupational health management, especially in complex projects.

New Delhi, March 15, 2024: Engineers India Limited (EIL) observed its 60th Foundation Day on March 15, 2024 with great fervour and pride, celebrating the Company’s stellar contribution towards development of energy infrastructure in the country over the past six decades. Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL inaugurated the celebrations, which was attended by Functional Directors, CVO, senior officials and a large number of employees.

In her address, C&MD paid rich tributes to the founding fathers and past seniors of EIL, highlighting that EIL is built on the pillars of innovation, integrity and excellence and spurred all to work together in thrusting the organisation to newer heights. “As we embark on the journey ahead, inspired by our past and empowered by our vision for the future, we look forward to building on our legacy of Engineering Excellence and scaling greater heights of Success in service of Bharat,” she added.

On this occasion, a Blood Donation Camp was organised at HO, New Delhi wherein EIL employees wholeheartedly took part, fostering awareness about the benefits of this noble initiative. Later in the day, Long Service Awards Ceremony was organized by the company to honour employees for their dedicated services to the Company. The programme was also attended by family members of employees receiving the honours.

New Delhi, January 26, 2024: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated in EIL offices across the country on 26th January, 2024 with patriotic zeal and enthusiasm. Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL along with the company's Functional Directors and senior officials unfurled the National Tricolour at EIL HO and Gurugram complex.

On this occasion, as part of EIL's commitment towards Net-Zero, an 800 KWp On Grid Rooftop SPV System at EIL Gurugram Complex was launched by C&MD and Directors. The dignitaries also inaugurated a Knowledge Hub at Gurugram Complex and new EIL Housing Complex at Vashi Mumbai through virtual mode.

New Delhi, January 18, 2024: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been conferred with the prestigious SCOPE Eminence Award in the category of Women Empowerment for the period 2019-20. The award was presented to EIL by the Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar and was received by Shri Sanjay Jindal, Director (Finance) and Shri Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial) on January 18, 2024, during an award ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

C&MD, EIL Ms. Vartika Shukla graced the inaugural session as Chief Guest along with functional Directors with the spirited participation of senior officials and employees of EIL.

Esteemed guests including Dr. Harender Singh Bisht, Director (CSIR-IIP), Shri Sujoy Chaudhury (Director- Planning & BD, IOCL), Shri V. K. Maheswari (ED - HPCL-R&D), Dr. Ravi Kumar (Head, BPCL-R&D), Shri S Shriram (CGM, HPCL-R&D), and Dr. Thirumalaiswamy Raja (CSIR-NCL) among other guests from the industry graced the occasion. C&MD, EIL also inaugurated the newly constructed EIL’s pilot facility "Srijan Kendra". The new building is housing pilot plants related to various technologies being developed by EIL both on its own or in collaboration with the industry and the national laboratories.
